Not my favorite head, but a quality looking putter…

Looks really good... I'd love to see that face milling process... looks like the CNC bit mills every "comb" individually... opposed to a sweeping motion across the face.

I also agree with your assessment of the headcover and grip... pretty nice looking.

My first Camy was a Laguna 2.5, I sold it because I couldn't get over the look from address.  I do love that Mizuno royal blue.  Bettinardi's do feel fantastic though, might be worth a try.

Nice review.

I picked this particular head because it WASN'T the Anser style head that I'd reviewed with 5-6 different manufacturers.

The entire series is the same quality. I'm going to have a different putter later this week to play with...tour this time. It's an Anser style head this time..

RJB certainly makes a quality putter. I am glad to see that he is continuing to upgrade the little extras such as the grip and HC. My opinion is that Bettinardi's have always been "blocky" looking. I prefer softer edges myself. If you're a Cameron Newport II fan you will be a fan of his version of the Anser.

His mallets and non-Anser styles are top notch. Doug's pictures do a great great of capturing this model. Mr. Doug's review is spot on in my opinion.

I actually tried this putter two weeks ago and I do not know if it was me, but, it did not feel light except when striking the ball! it set up very nicely and I really liked the looks and all but like I said, when I putted the ball it felt like the head was too light.

I could stick with only just one putter, but, what fun would that be?

I like the patented honeycomb milling. But Im not especially excited about the overall look. For me the edges could have been smoothed out. I think the review was fair.

Maybe not the most important bits of a putter, but I think the headcover and the grip are just awesome! Real eyecatchers!  Grin
