School me on Bettinardi putters
« on: February 03, 2007, 09:00:22 pm »
Hi everyone -

Looking to pick up my first Bettinardi putter.  I'm a big Cameron guy, but I'm looking to expand my horizons.  I know literaly nothing about Bettinardi models.  Anyone care to take me to school?

I love Circa No. 3's.  Not much of a mallet guy.  So I would prefer to pick up a blade.  Something under a tour model, but something more than an OTR.  What should I be on the lookout for?

Thanks,

Ryan

Ryan, there are many putters availbale on my site at www.tksputters.com.  I would check there to see what fits your eye and I can help you from there.  I hope that helps.

Ryan....this is just my opinion but I personally like the older Bettinardi's. Check out Bettinardi's site Bettinardi and look at the Classic Bettinardi's under putters. You can still buy them from the Studio or search Ebay. Hope this helps you. Contact Todd also he can get you whatever you need also.

The great thing about Bettinardi is every single one of them is made in the Chicago area, so you can pick up a Mizuno Bettinardi or a Hogan Bettinardi inexpensively and still get the same quality.

It's located in Tinley Park which is a suburb of Chicago :)

If you prefer the Circa #3 I would suggest a plumbers neck BB-1 (Newport) or BB-8 (Newport 2) - that should get you started.

I live less than 10 minutes from there. I would be interested in seeing the place, any chance of getting a couple people going?
