ok, so i made the mistake and looked at the headcover section in the collectors area of the bettinardi website. needless to say i want them all...lol

are these like camerons where they come out and are a limited run?
 how much are they?
how often do they come out?

From my experience, the headcovers come out in a limited run (the last valentines day headcover had 100 white covers with 50 special red covers).  It seems more covers have been coming out in the past 12-14 months. 

This year there has been a release for Hawaii, the PGA show, and Valentines Day.

They usually run in the range of $55 to $65.  I am not sure what the Hawaii headcovers were, but the PGA show covers were both $55 and $65 (depending on the cover) and the Valentines Day cover was $65.

In case you are not aware, they differ from the SC covers in the design.  They have a neoprene backing so there is no chance of scratching your putter.

Make sure you purchase it fast if you see one you like. Sometimes they sell out before you even know they were for sale. Looking forward to the next cover (St. Patrick's Day?).
