Everyone knows my past relationship with the T.P. Mills Co. That relationship took me to Mr. Doug's "Dr. Sago" event, where I met Keith, Jimmy & Nick. Since that event I consider each of those gentlemen a friend. When my relationship to the T.P. Mills company came to an end, Keith extended an invitation to this year's Bettinardi Social. It took some convincing to the wife with the newborn at home, but finally she gave in.

The event...
One word describes the social... CLASS. From the outside cigar lounge with leather sofas, to the food, to the bar, to the gifts (personalized towel, personalized buckle, headcover), etc.
The facility...
Not sure if you all know, but Bettinardi items aren't the only items manufactured at this facility. Keith stated that these other items require accuracy within a human hair and that they carry this precision/technology to their putters. Doesn't get much better then that. The manufacturing floor is extremely impressive and nice to know that everything is done in house...except for finishes.
The fitting lab is fantastic. Spent a bunch of time up there watching Ben fit people and making adjustments to their Bettinardi's on the spot. The results were impressive.
The putters...
One word... WOW. While I was a bit dissapointed there were no JAM's

, the putters there were absolutely fantastic. The variety of models, finishes, materials, & engravings were fantastic. I think we were all like kids in a candy store. As a relative newbie to Bettinardi putters, I was blown away.
On Saturday, I used one of Jimmy's JAMs. It was my first 18 hole round with a high end Bettinardi and I really enjoyed it. It featured the fit face and I'm a fan of this face. The greens were pretty darn fast and I felt like I had control of the ball on the greens all day. Made some bombs too...including the longest putt on 18, which happened to be for bird.
I have a flamed DASS JAM with a fit face on the way...very excited.
The guys...
You can't find any better group of guys then Keith, Ben, Jimmy, Nick, Bob, Glenn, etc. I think they made everyone feel like they were a friend of the company, not just a customer.
Thanks again for everything boys...can't wait to come back
