I'm not able to play golf, but am able to head to the Studio around 4:00 or so. Is there any place where guys will be meeting for a few 'pops' before heading over to the Social? After a few Vodka/Lemonades my credit cards will flow a bit better, assuming Bob has some putters for us

I can't wait! My Bettinardi that I sent off to be refinished still hasn't showed up, so I may be putterless. Should be fun either way! Can't wait to see what all there will be to purchase, I know I'm leaving with a shiny new putter.

LOL. Oh, forgot to PM you. I can't play Friday at that time unfortunately. The guy I am staying with had something else set up.

And I will be putterless for the trip. My putter that was supposed to be back on Monday is not here. Needless to say, I am furious.

I was at the studio last week and saw the putters that are going to be for sale....lots of cool stuff. I'll bet one model will only last minutes if they havn't been presold already

There's approximately 200 putters that will be available for our guests to purchase. It will be first come first served when the studio doors open around 7pm on Friday so bring your taser

Hats off to Bob Bettinardi, Jimmy Nick Ben and the rest of the Bettinardi gang. A world class event went off without a hitch and they made everyone feel welcome.

Hopefully new stuff will arrive this week at the office. "Honey the 19 boxes from the Bettinardi Studio are just really mostly ball markers and divot tools- they just needed to get rid of a bunch of really big boxes"!!

Doug: those are sick! Glad you were able to get ahold of the 7's. Enjoyed hanging out and swapping cigars with you during the weekend. Enjoy the Gold Medal and other goodies!

This years event was absolutely amazing. Couldn't ask for a better event run by better people and attended by such a great group. Thanks again to Jimmy in particular for inviting me, and once again to the rest of the Bettinardi gang for hosting such a great event!

Little time for photos. About 30 guys let in a 25 x 25 foot room. You had to look quick, pick a putter, give it to one of the Bettinardi boys, they took it to the pay station / packing, then you looked for another, etc. I got a couple I wanted and have not see them since I handed them off.

I have some photos of the shop but I am on my way to the airport typing this on my iPhone so photos will come later.

Absolutely a world class event. Everything was awesome!!! The Bettinardi gang are truly wonderful people and really went out of their way in every means possible. The tour of the studio was incredible and to see how the science and art are combined was exciting to say the least. It was great to meet and hang out with everyone. I enjoyed everyone's company.

Here are a few photos from inside the working area of Studio B. Notice there are actual CNC milling machines where all the putters with the Bettinardi name on them made. No Bettinardi putters are outsourced.

You will see some raw material including aluminum, copper, aluminum bronze, stainless steel and DASS in its bar stock form. From this bar stock billets will be cut to size to mill specific putters.

Here is a create full of forgings that will make their way to a CNC machine for milling into putters. Most but not all putters are milled from billets. Some are CNC milled from high quality forgings. The billets are hammer pressed into what kind of look like crude putters. This process alines the grain of the steel, removes all or most all of the air pockets, etc.
