We discuss the origination of some of his designs, and learn why he started designing putters. Interview Notes: Bob’s first “Bettinardi” putter was the “Cujo 101″ that was released in 1998. There were 30 pieces made. There is a good reason why you never put a plumber neck on an 8802 style putter. The Baby Ben was the putter Jim Furyk used to win the 2003 US Open.
